Terms of Service

1. Scope

These terms of service apply to the use of the "Mini.Meet" app (the "app") and the website www.minimeet-app.de. By registering and using the app, you accept these terms.

2. Description of Service

Mini.Meet enables parents to connect at playgrounds and parks. Users can share their presence live or plan visits in advance, and communicate with confirmed friends. Visibility of visits and locations is restricted to confirmed friends.

3. Registration and Account

A user account is required. You are responsible for the security of your login credentials. Accounts are non-transferable. Use is reserved for persons aged 18 and older.

4. Usage Rules

You agree to:

  • use the app only for its intended purpose
  • not provide false or misleading information
  • respect the privacy of other users
  • not use automated access (bots, scrapers)
  • not post unlawful, abusive or child-safety-relevant content
  • not share third-party personal data without permission

5. Content

Users are responsible for their own content (visits, messages, reactions, profile pictures, own "Along" entries). By posting, you grant me a simple right to technically store and deliver this content to your friends to operate the app. I reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms or applicable law without prior notice.

6. Location Data

The app uses location data to provide its core features (visits, map, nearby view). Sharing is voluntary and can be revoked at any time in your device settings — without location access, visits and nearby features are unavailable.

7. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

Certain features may become paid in the future (e.g. Mini.Meet Plus).

  • Purchases are processed exclusively via the official stores (Apple App Store, Google Play Store); their terms, payment and refund conditions apply additionally.
  • Billing, management and cancellation of subscriptions takes place via the respective store account.
  • Cancellation: subscriptions can be cancelled at any time via store settings, at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period, to prevent automatic renewal.
  • Price changes will be announced in the app before taking effect.

8. Partner Places (local recommendations)

In addition to playgrounds and parks from OpenStreetMap data, the app may in the future display so-called "Partner Places" — local businesses shown as an additional pin on the map. Details on data processing are governed by the privacy policy, section 9.

Selection of partners

Only local, family- or location-related businesses are accepted (e.g. cafés, ice-cream shops, family restaurants, child-friendly stores). The following are excluded in particular:

  • advertising directed at children (e.g. toy manufacturers, streaming services or games for kids)
  • behavioural targeting or personalised advertising
  • content that violates applicable law or these terms of service

Labelling

Paid placements are marked as such in the app (label "Sponsored placement" on the respective pin).

No claim to selection

I decide at my own discretion which businesses are accepted as or removed from Partner Places. There is no claim to inclusion, retention or exclusion of any specific business.

9. Liability

The app is provided "as is". I do not guarantee constant availability, error-free operation or specific functionality. Liability for slight negligence is excluded except where mandatory legal grounds (e.g. injury to life, body, health, or product liability) apply. Otherwise liability is limited to intent and gross negligence. Where the app is provided as a digital product within the meaning of §§ 327 et seq. of the German Civil Code (BGB), your mandatory statutory warranty rights (in particular to conformity and updates) remain unaffected by the provisions above.

10. Termination and Account Deletion

You can delete your account at any time via the profile tab in the app. This terminates the usage agreement. I reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts in case of violations of these terms or abusive use.

11. Changes to these Terms

I may adjust these terms, for example in response to changes in the law, new features or changed technical conditions. You will be informed of changes in advance, in good time, in the app or by email.

  • Non-material changes are deemed accepted unless you object within 30 days of the notice. I will point out this period and the meaning of your silence separately in the notice. If you object, I may terminate the usage agreement with reasonable notice.
  • Material changes — in particular a change of the contracting party or operator (e.g. a future transfer to a Mini.Meet GmbH), a restriction of the scope of services to your disadvantage, or the introduction of fees — only take effect if you actively agree to them (e.g. by confirming in the app). If you do not agree, you can terminate your account at any time.

12. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

German law applies. To the extent permitted by law, place of jurisdiction is Dresden. Mandatory consumer protection provisions of the user's country of residence remain unaffected.
