Delete Account

You can delete your Mini.Meet account and all associated data at any time, using either of the two methods below.
Option 1 — In the App (recommended)
- Open Mini.Meet on your device
- Tap the Profile tab in the bottom right
- Choose Settings → Account
- Tap "Delete account"
- Confirm the security prompt
Option 2 — By Email
Send an email to hallo@minimeet-app.de with the subject "Account Deletion".
Please include the following in your email:
- The email address registered with your Mini.Meet account
- Optional: your display name in the app (for unambiguous identification)
You will receive a confirmation email within a few business days. For security reasons, I only delete an account if the deletion request is sent from the email address the account is registered with — this prevents anyone from having someone else's account deleted.
What happens after the request
- Your account is immediately marked as "pending deletion". You can no longer log in, and your visits and profile are hidden from other users.
- Within 30 days, all your data is irreversibly removed from the Mini.Meet databases.
- During those 30 days, you can cancel the deletion by logging in again — your account will be reactivated.
- After the 30 days, the deletion is final and cannot be undone.
What data is deleted
- Profile (display name, email, profile picture)
- Entries under „Along" (name, emoji)
- All visits (locations, timestamps, comments)
- Reactions, friend relationships, group memberships
- Planned visits
- Push tokens (APNs / FCM)
- If you have an active Mini.Meet Plus subscription: your in-app Plus status will be set to "inactive". The subscription itself continues at Apple or Google until the end of the paid period, since Mini.Meet does not control store billing. Cancellation must be done in the respective store (see below).
What data is NOT deleted
- Anonymised aggregate statistics (e.g. "how many visits occurred in month X") — these contain no reference to you personally and cannot be linked back to your account.
- Records required by law:
- Invoices and accounting records for Mini.Meet Plus subscriptions: 10 years per §147 AO (German Fiscal Code). These are handled exclusively by the App Store / Play Store on behalf of the tax authorities, not stored in Mini.Meet itself.
Cancelling Mini.Meet Plus separately
If you only want to cancel your Plus subscription without deleting your account:
- iOS: Settings → [your Apple ID] → Subscriptions → Mini.Meet Plus → Cancel Subscription
- Android: Play Store app → profile picture (top right) → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions → Mini.Meet Plus → Cancel subscription
